The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, has announced an update to the First Semester Examination arrangements for B.Sc. (Hons) and B.Sc. (General) students in Years Three and Four.

After intense intervention from the Students’ Union Government (SUG), the Office of the Deputy Registrar issued an official notice confirming that the examinations will commence on Wednesday, 8th April 2026, and conclude on Monday, 13th April 2026. The development follows concerns raised by students regarding the examination schedule and related arrangements.

As part of the update, there have also been adjustments to the examination venues. Year Three students will sit their examinations at Fourah Bay College (FBC), Mount Aureol, Freetown, while Final Year (Year Four) students will write their examinations at Kingtom and the IPAM Main Campus, Tower Hill, Freetown.

The administration further stated that the Examinations Unit will release a detailed timetable by Friday, 27th March 2026, to guide students throughout the examination period.

The notice was signed by Albert S. Baito, MCIPS, MILT, Deputy Registrar, on Wednesday, 25th March 2026. Students are therefore encouraged to take note of the updated arrangements and prepare adequately for the forthcoming examinations.
