IPAM SUG Announces Major Ministerial Reshuffle and New Appointments

The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) Students' Union Government (SUG) has announced a significant ministerial reshuffle involving the temporary relief of several officials and the appointment of new ministers and deputy ministers across various portfolios.

The changes, made through the Office of the President and the Office of the Chief Minister, are aimed at strengthening student leadership, enhancing accountability, ensuring continuity in governance, and improving service delivery within the Union.

According to official notices issued by Chief Minister Sorie Ibrahim Koroma, a number of officials were relieved of their duties pending further administrative review. Those affected include:

- Amadu Wurie Bah – Deputy Minister of Social Welfare
- Markfason Massaquoi – Deputy Attorney General
- Mohammed Allieu Jalloh – Deputy Minister of Games & Sports
- Haja Fatmata Abu – Deputy Minister of Gender Affairs
- Aruna Rashid – Minister of Information & Communications
- Alphan Moijueh – Minister of Transportation

To ensure the smooth functioning of government activities, the administration subsequently announced a series of new appointments with immediate effect. The newly appointed officials are:

- Juliana Turay – Deputy Minister of Canteen
- Ibrahim Sesay – Deputy Minister of Education
- Wulamatu Samura – Deputy Minister of Gender Affairs
- Musa Kamara – Minister of Transportation
- Anthony Daniel Pkukups – Deputy Minister of Transportation
- Aiah Mac Karim – Deputy Minister of Games & Sports
- Esther Bona – Deputy Attorney General
- Phebean S. Stober – Acting Minister of Internal Affairs
- Aminata A.H. Bangura – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs
- Denis Sesay – Minister of Information & Communications
- Daniel Turay – Deputy Minister of Information & Communications
- Mohamed Alie Kamara – Deputy Minister of Defense
- Hassan Salieu Njai – Minister of Trade and Canteen
- Sia B. Fillie – Deputy Minister of Finance
- Alhaji Mamadu Barrie – Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation II
- Amara Saccoh – Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Mohamed Turay – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Francis Gbani – Deputy Minister of Defense

In the appointment notices, the President congratulated all appointees and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the student body.

The Students' Union Government expressed confidence that the newly appointed officials will make meaningful contributions toward the growth and development of IPAM while supporting the administration's vision of effective, transparent, and student-centered governance.
