IPAM Community Set to Welcome First Lady for Special Public Lecture

The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, has announced a public lecture to be hosted by the Students’ Union Government (SUG) on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Registrar, the event will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Car Park, Ground Floor of the Ekundayo Thompson Building.

The lecture will feature the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio, as the guest speaker. She is expected to deliver a presentation on the topic: “Women in Leadership: Breaking Barriers, Building the Future.”

The institute administration encouraged all Diploma, B.Sc., and Postgraduate students to attend what it described as an important academic and motivational event.

The notice was signed by Albert S. Baio, Deputy Registrar, and dated Friday, 15 May 2026.
