Final-year students of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), under the University of Sierra Leone, have been issued an important notice mandating the completion of exit verification ahead of graduation.
According to the notice released by the Academic Affairs Unit, all BSc final-year students for the 2025/2026 academic year are required to submit specific documents as part of the verification process. The exercise is scheduled to take place at the Administrative Building on Momoh Street, Freetown.
Submission of documents is scheduled to run from May 4, 2026, to June 1, 2026, during which students are expected to complete all requirements.
Students are instructed to present key documents including WASSCE/GCE O’ Level results, admission forms, and payment receipts. Those who used GCE results for admission must pay a verification fee at a designated bank and provide proof of payment. Additional requirements include birth certificates, academic testimonials, acceptance letters, and passport-sized photographs.
The notice further emphasizes that students must ensure the accuracy of their personal details such as name, year of entry, course of study, and identification number. Any discrepancies are to be corrected during the verification process.
Authorities have cautioned that failure to complete the exercise within the stipulated timeframe will affect the student’s clearance and graduation process.
The directive, signed by the Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Affairs), highlights the importance of compliance, noting that this is a mandatory step for all graduating students.
