IPAM Announces Examination Criteria for Diploma and Provincial Students

The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, through its Statistics and Students’ Information Unit (SSIU), has announced the final countdown to the Second Semester Examinations for Diploma and Degree students in the provinces.

According to an official notice dated Monday, 3 August 2026, students have six days remaining before the examinations begin.

The examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday, 10 August 2026, and end on Friday, 14 August 2026. The examinations will be conducted in Freetown and at designated provincial campuses.

Programmes and Examination Centres

The notice indicates that the examinations will cover B.Sc. students in Years 1–3, with examination centres in Bo and Makeni.

For Diploma students in Years 1–2, examinations will be conducted in Freetown, Lungi, Makeni, Kono, Bo, Kenema, Pujehun and Kailahun.

100% Fee Payment Required

IPAM has reminded students that they must pay 100% of their fees ahead of the examinations.

Students with outstanding fees are therefore urged to complete their payments before the examination period to ensure they meet the requirements for participation.

Students Warned Against Unauthorized Materials

The institution has also warned students not to bring unauthorized materials to the examination centres.

Specifically, students have been advised not to bring electronic devices, bags, papers or other unauthorized materials into the examination venues.

Students are expected to strictly follow all examination rules and regulations throughout the examination period.

The notice was signed by Abdul-Wahid Koroma, Head of the Statistics and Students’ Information Unit (SSIU).

IPAM has wished all students a successful examination as they prepare for the Second Semester Examinations beginning on 10 August 2026.
