The University of Sierra Leone through the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) has officially announced the end of first-semester lectures and the commencement of examinations for continuing students.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Registrar, first-semester lectures for continuing undergraduate students (Years 2β4) will officially end on Saturday, 21st March 2026. Following the end of lectures, the lecture recess for continuing students will begin on Monday, 23rd March and run until Friday, 27th March 2026.
The notice further states that first-semester examinations for continuing students will commence on Saturday, 28th March 2026.
Meanwhile, postgraduate students have been informed that in-person lectures will resume at the Main Campus, Tower Hill, Freetown, from Monday, 30th March to Saturday, 25th April 2026, with lectures scheduled between 5:00/6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
After the lecture period, postgraduate students will observe a one-week recess from Monday, 27th April to Saturday, 2nd May 2026.
Additionally, first-semester examinations for postgraduate students will begin on Monday, 4th May and conclude on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at the Main Campus, Tower Hill.
The institute also reminded all candidates that they must pay 100% of the orientation fees and at least 50% of their total tuition fees to be eligible to sit the examinations.
The notice, signed by Deputy Registrar Albert S. Bayo on Monday, 16th March 2026, wished all students success in their upcoming examinations. πβ¨
