The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) of the University of Sierra Leone has announced arrangements for Resit Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, targeting final-year B.Sc., Postgraduate Diploma, and Master’s students.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Registrar, students who failed no more than two modules during the 2025/2026 academic year are required to pay their resit examination fees by Wednesday, 2 September 2026, and register with their respective faculties by Friday, 4 September 2026.
The notice further states that final-year students who were unable to sit their semester examinations because of non-payment of fees or illness should register with their respective faculties and settle all outstanding fees for the 2025/2026 academic year, if they have not already done so.
Resit Examination Fees
The resit examination fee has been set at:
NLe150 per module for B.Sc. students.
NLe300 per module for postgraduate students.
All resit examination fees are to be paid into the IPAM General Sierra Leone Commercial Bank Account specified in the official notice.
Students have also been reminded that they must carry their identification cards or laminated fee receipts to the examination halls. Those who fail to present the required identification or proof of payment will not be permitted to sit the examinations.
The Examinations Unit is expected to communicate the detailed examination timetable separately.
Examinations Begin 7 September
IPAM has confirmed that the resit examinations will commence on Monday, 7 September 2026, and conclude on Saturday, 12 September 2026.
Students have also been warned that CCTV cameras will be in operation during the examinations.
The notice was signed by Albert S. Baio, MCIPS, MILT, Deputy Registrar, and dated Friday, 28 August 2026.
The announcement comes as IPAM continues its established practice of issuing detailed examination requirements and schedules to help students prepare adequately for assessment periods.
