The administration of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone, has issued an official statement addressing recent disruptions that occurred on campus on June 22 and June 24, 2026.
According to the statement signed by Deputy Registrar Albert S. Baio, the disturbances were allegedly linked to individuals believed to be members of the "Equals Club," based on their attire and chants. The administration noted that the group attempted to enter the campus on Monday, June 22, but was prevented from doing so by the Sierra Leone Police.
The administration further disclosed that on Wednesday, June 24, a social media notice announcing “The Generals Entity – IPAM Celebrates White Wednesday” circulated online. Later that day, some students reportedly caused disorder in the campus canteen, prompting management to invite those involved to assist with investigations into the incident.
IPAM emphasized that the disturbances occurred despite the University of Sierra Leone's standing ban on all student club activities on campus.
The administration reassured students, staff, and the public that appropriate measures have been taken to maintain peace, security, and academic activities within the institution. It also thanked the college community for its cooperation and understanding as efforts continue to uphold discipline and order on campus.

Jun 25, 2026 at 6:25 PMbut the black club also celebrate.
black Thursday on campus
The Administration will never consider that, they're busy sabotising the mighty equals club. The SUG president and his minsters are black individuals, they won't talk about that

Jun 25, 2026 at 8:51 PMI commend the IPAM Administration for addressing the recent incidents and prioritizing peace, security, and academic continuity. At the same time, I hope the investigation will be conducted fairly, transparently, and without prejudice. As students, we all have a responsibility to uphold discipline while ensuring that every individual is treated with justice and respect. Let us work together to preserve the good image of IPAM and create a peaceful learning environment for everyone.

Jun 25, 2026 at 9:21 PMThere's no way IPAM Administration will jump into such conclusions without having valid evidence to prove the claims. This is brutality at highest pick bcoz clubs like Brims,Commoners etc does the same thing in the campus at their own time but you guys that are claiming Admin.. will not post or comment anything regarding such incidents.
We're observing you guys, keep on the brutality against the students who voted you in.
Every student at IPAM-USL know you are taking advantage of the power you guys have currently
