From Lectures to Exams: IPAM Unveils Full Academic Schedule

The University of Sierra Leone through its Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) has officially released an important notice to both undergraduate and postgraduate students regarding the conclusion of first-semester lectures and the commencement of examinations.

According to the Office of the Deputy Registrar, first-semester lectures for continuing undergraduate students (Years 2–4) will end on Saturday, 21st March 2026. This will be followed by a short recess beginning Monday, 23rd March and ending Friday, 27th March 2026. First-semester examinations for these students are scheduled to begin on Saturday, 28th March 2026.

For postgraduate students, management has announced that in-person lectures will resume at the Main Campus, Tower Hill in Freetown, starting from Monday, 30th March to Saturday, 25th April 2026. Classes will be held in the evenings, running from 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A one-week break will follow from Monday, 27th April to Saturday, 2nd May 2026.

Postgraduate examinations are set to commence on Monday, 4th May and conclude on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at the Main Campus, Tower Hill. Students are reminded that they must meet all financial requirements, including full payment of orientation fees and at least 50% of total tuition fees, to be eligible to sit for the examinations.

The notice, signed by Deputy Registrar Albert S. Baio, concludes with well wishes to all students for success in their upcoming examinations.

Please the management should see how the can readjusts the time during the exam Coz the 2hrs is really really not enough at all more especially for us the accounting students it really really difficult.
