The University of Sierra Leone, through its Institute of Public Administration and Management, has officially announced the commencement date for first semester examinations for selected categories of students.
According to a notice released by the Office of the Deputy Registrar, examinations for Diploma Year One and Two, B.Sc. Year One, and Postgraduate programmes are scheduled to begin on Monday, 4th May 2026.
The notice further emphasized that newly enrolled Diploma and B.Sc. Year One students must ensure full payment (100%) of their tuition fees before they will be allowed to sit the examinations. Meanwhile, Diploma Year Two and Postgraduate students are required to pay at least 50% of their fees to qualify for participation.
Additionally, the Examinations Unit is expected to release the official timetable by Friday, 24th April 2026, giving students adequate time to prepare.
The Deputy Registrar, Albert S. Baio, who signed the notice, encouraged all students to comply with the payment requirements and wished them success in their upcoming examinations.
The announcement serves as an important reminder for students to regularize their financial status ahead of the exams to avoid disqualification.
